At LeaseForce International (LFI), we are highly committed to protecting the privacy of our clients' and fully understand that information security and privacy is vital to your business. For this reason, LFI has taken significant precautions at numerous levels both internally and within our alliance network to ensure that no unauthorized "out of process" individuals, internal or external to LFI, will be able to review your private information.
Our online technology platform uses a secured server environment with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology. This ensures that your information cannot be accessed during transmission to our servers. SSL is the standard for engaging in secure internet based communications, transactions and service facilitation. To support this technology, applicants need an SSL-capable browser. We recommend using a strong encryption, 128-bit browser. In addition to our technology security safeguards, LFI has instituted additional operational and procedural security and privacy safeguards by limiting employee authorized access to client information. Due to the nature of the internet, we cannot ensure that all of our Users' private communications and personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Statement. All sensitive information is encrypted but, third parties may attempt to unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
We may from time to time, use cookies to assist us in identifying one page request from another. These cookies do not contain any personal information and are stored on an applicant's hard drive. Cookies merely allow us to recognize that a page request comes from someone who has previously logged on to our website. Cookies are "session cookies", which indicates that they are automatically deleted at the end of a session, or are automatically "timed out" after 60 minutes of inactivity.
It is LFI's stated policy that we will not sell, trade, or rent your company's personal information to other third party entities, and in this regard refrain from revealing any client leasing, financing or service related application information with corporate affiliates, funding source alliances, equipment service provider alliances or unaffiliated third parties, unless (1) such information is provided and is intended to be used to assist the client in securing a transaction (i.e. leasing and financing transactions), (2) client specifically requests it, (3) the disclosure is specifically required by federal, state or equivalent international law, (4) LFI has informed you of its interest in using such information for mutual benefit, and you have responded with your acceptance of such an interest. In this event, LFI would require those with access to any personal information to follow all applicable laws and regulations currently safeguarding such information.
Due to the nature of LFI's product and service offering, we are often called upon to provide information to our funding source alliance including, but not limited to our clients credit bureau reports, trade, bank and supplier references. In structuring equipment leasing and financing transactions, LFI professionals work hand in hand with client companies, and only provide information, acceptable to the client in the effort to optimally complete each respective transaction.
